I was married in 2007 and was lucky enough to have the perfect wedding! Of course, every Bride has their own idea of the perfect wedding but the thing I remember most about my big day was how much fun I had. From the time I woke up (at 7:00am for make-up!) to the time I passed out in my dress, I only had one thing to think about – getting married. To this day, I still have no idea whether anything went wrong because as far as I know, it went exactly as I had planned and hoped it to be. I owe that to my day-of coordinators and the fantastic job they did making sure everything went according to plan.
Finding a coordination company that simply offered day-of coordination was not as easy as I had thought it would be. I only had a very small handful of companies to choose from, many that were booked well in advance. I quickly realized, as I helped friends with their weddings, that this was something I was good at and before I knew it, Down The Aisle was born!
I have always been a planner and an organizer and I love the adrenaline rush of working under pressure. Let me take the stress out of your wedding day and make sure you only have to worry about getting down the aisle!
